Encryption JE-A130The JANA International Ltd JE-A130 encryption unit applies a more complex voice encryption algorithm, and therefore providing a higher level of security. The JE-A130 converts the analogue signal into digital,
processes the audio in the digital domain, then converting it back to analogue. This provides a seemless encryption. Application Suitability: · Security · Search and Rescue · Ambulance · Industry |
Plug-In Modules:
1. Automatic Number Identification (ANI)
The ANI plug-in module provides each radio to transmit a unique user programmable tone sequence upon initiating transmittion. The tone sequence enables the idenfication of the transmitting radio to be identified by an ANI decoder unit (see ANI desktop decoders).
The tone sequence is generated at the beginning of each transmittion, and continues to assert the PTT until completion of the ANI tone sequence. The ANI module has a variety of standard tone sets available for selection. These are configured using a Microsoft Windows application, provided with the encryption units.
2. Emergency Automatic Number Identification
This plug-in provides an additional specific ANI tone sequence to be generated upon a specific button sequence. This plug-in requires the standard ANI plug-in to be installed.
3. Over The Air Reprogramation (OTAR)
The OTAR feature allows secure remote radio encryption reprogramation. The advantage of this feature, is that it provides a means of reprogramming specific parameters in either the encryption function or Plug-In Module functions, without the requirement to call in all the radios and reprogram them manually.
4. Radio Kill
The Radio Kill facility enables the encryption unit to be completely disabled, removing both the ability to operate and disabling both the audio Tx and Rx paths. The Radio Kill plug-in module requires OTAR.
